Workshop Overview:
This exclusive 1-hour breakfast session is being offered to attendees from eating disorder sector community organisations and clinical service providers. Our expert clinical researchers (who co-lead the Workforce Research Engagement and Capacity workstream) will provide a clear, accessible overview of the research and evaluation process, including key steps and how research and evaluation can improve your service delivery and outcomes. We invite participants to come prepared with research or evaluation questions or challenges, or a project you’d like to discuss.

Format:
The workshop will blend brief presentations with interactive, small-group activities. Participants will work together to generate a simple research idea and apply it as they explore the different stages of the research cycle. Through guided discussions and collaborative exercises, attendees will gain practical insight into how research works and how to maximise the impacts of their important contributions.

This workshop seeks to enhance knowledge of the research process, helping to lower participation barriers and further support community organisations in their ongoing engagement with and contributions to eating disorder research in Australia.
