Think Tank Researcher Seed Funding

 

We’re thrilled to announce a brand-new opportunity exclusive to Think Tank attendees: 

4 x $5,000 Researcher Seed Funding Grants will be awarded to attendees of Think Tank 2025 who submit a short proposal for an innovative, collaborative project.

​

To be eligible, the applicant must be a researcher who attends Think Tank 2025. Applications will be accepted from an individual researcher, or a research team, and may be directed towards any purpose that will support you in your role, for example:

​

  • Undertaking research or translation pilot projects

  • Designing a research/translation project and developing funding application for a research submission to a research funding body

  • Engaging other team members for co-design purposes

​

Q: How much funding is there?

  • AEDRTC will fund 4 x $5000 seed funding grants to researchers who attend Think Tank 2025

​

Q: Who can apply for funding?

  • Researchers who attended Think Tank 2025 can apply for funding.

  • A lead organisation will need to be nominated to receive the grant funds.

​

Q: How much funding will be available?

  • 4 x $5000 grants will be offered to researchers who attend Think Tank 2025.

​

Q: What can we use the funding for?
You can use the funding for any purpose that will support you to:

  • Undertake research or translation pilot projects

  • Design a research/translation project and developing funding application for a research submission to a research funding body

  • Engage other team members for co-design purposes

​

Q: When will the funding round open and close?

  • ​The funding round will open during Think Tank 2025 – 28th May 2025 and will close Friday 13th June 2025 

​

Q: How will the successful applicants be determined?

  • Applications will be adjudicated by a scientific committee which will be established by the AEDRTC Centre Administration and include independent reviewers.

​
